Making My Own Havaianas

with 2 comments

It felt great to end my work week attending the MYOH event at the h store last night at Takashimaya. Definitely a positive start to the weekend! I wear flip flops a lot especially during the weekend, so i was looking forward to making my own personalized pair of Havaianas.

There are many pretty colors available to choose from! From the soles, to straps, to the little details like pins that you can use to accessorize your flip flops!! But i was kinda disappointed to find out that i could only choose from 3 colors for the sole because i was a size 33/34. :( But i’m sure most of you have bigger feet than i do, so do enjoy the wide range of colors you can choose from!

Did you know? All the Havaianas in the world are lovingly made from a single factory in Brazil – a strong testament to the brand’s originality since its humble beginnings from way back in 1962.

Anywayz. Local celebrity DJ, Rosalyn Lee, was sighted at the event last night with her friends! She’s really pretty, and super tall and skinny! Should have asked to take a picture with her, but was too shy. Oh well… ^_^

If you are making a trip to town this weekend (14-15 July) with your friends, do drop by Havaianas to be a part of Singapore’s MYOH movement. While you’re there having fun creating your own pretty flip flops, don’t forget to wish them a Happy 50th Anniversary!!

Thank you for the invitation Havaianas Singapore and Vibes Communications! Huiting, it was great to finally meet you in person :)
