Review – Laneige Serum Intense Lipstick
Following my recent review of the Laneige BB Cushion Pore Control comes the review of the Laneige Intense Serum Lipstick. Bold, alluring lips are so the craze these days, so how could i not hop onto this bandwagon. Thanks to the K drama ‘You Who Came From The Stars’ and Cheon Song Yi with her love for bold lip colors, these have taken the world by storm! So…today i have for you the Laneige Intense Serum Lipsticks in Neon Orange YR25 and Flair Magenta LR08.
Come, let’s take a look at some pictures first! I sat there admiring these pretty colors for a long while…

The packaging is clean, simple and practical – and it can look quite attractive in that very minimalist sense. I own nothing like these 2 colors so this buy is absolutely justified The cap was a wee bit of a challenge the first time i tried to open it, but it was fine after. I wasn’t too sure (of course I wasn’t!) how these colors would turn out on me… as you know i’m quite conservative especially when it comes to lip colors, always preferring the natural everyday look. It was a risk, but one that i think was quite worth it.
The texture is very smooth, glides like a dream over the lips. It’s also very pigmented. I prefer to use a lip brush for more precise application. The colors are very bright so i’d rather make sure the lines are clean cos it will be absolutely visible.
My lips did feel very moisturized and soft throughout the few hours of wear. It doesn’t dry them out, but it doesn’t last through heavy-duty meals and drinking. Having a creamy texture…. i more or less expected that already so it didn’t come as a surprise. It does however, leave a nice stain behind. Overall, i would say I’m satisfied with this buy, and i do love the feel of this on my lips. Would i buy other colors from this range? No, i don’t think so. There are too many high-performing lipsticks and brands out there, i need to spread the LOVE
Here’s how Neon Orange and Flair Magenta look like on me. In the second image, i used a nude lipstick over Neon Orange just to see how it looks like. What do you think? Can i carry it off?
