Review & Swatches – Butter London Queen Vic + Saucy Jack + All Hail The Queen

Here’s the review and swatches of my latest haul – Butter London nail lacquers – from Argly Duckling!!

(From L-R)
Queen Vic – A sexy yet chic cool-toned plum-purple that’s great for a relaxing weekend out with the girlfriends.
Saucy Jack –
A bold classic red that will look great with any LBD, bound to give any woman a killer sense of confidence.
All Hail The Queen
A very down to earth taupe with subtle shimmer, so elegant it will go with anything and everything.

Ask me which is my favorite of the three? I really can’t choose!! I simply love them all for different reasons.

As it’s name suggests, the formula is really buttery smooth. Extremely easy to apply, you get great opaque color in 2 coats flat. In my opinion, the brush is relatively easy to handle, and it isn’t too thin nor too thick. I found some trouble manipulating the brush that comes with Deborah Lippmann nail lacquers, it’s a bit too narrow and application can be a bit of a challenge. You get an excellent glossy finish on its own with these Butter London babies, but i like to finish my manicures off with a top coat for that extra oomph and protection to help prevent premature chipping or tip wear.

Will i get more colors from the Butter London range? Yes, for sure!! What’s your favorite Butter London color?

Enjoy the swatches!
